Medical Examination for CR-1 Visa

Well Met Everyone,

I have been preparing my wife's packet to send out for I-130 approval. I am assuming that I will have to send her to Cd Juarez for her medical examination as she lives in Tijuana MX. When does this happen? Is it after the I-130 is approved and the NVC sends out forms? Can she bring a proof of vaccinations from another doctor as some of the vaccinations are "not available" at the medical examination?

If I follow the "Step by Step Guide" will I be ok with having my packet complete as some of this info is missing?

medical exams are specific from country to country and have different expiration dates

you will not need any of that until some time after nvc but before the interview

these items are not listed in the 130 piece of the process

any docs you send to uscis should only be copies.. originals + copies will be going to nvc when it is time

The Forms (I-130, G-325, G-1145 etc) all need to be originals correct?

That is correct.

The documents and evidence within may be photocopies (ie: your birth certificate, marriage certificate, bona fide marriage evidence, any final divorce decrees etc... may all be photocopies.) But the forms themselves must be originals.

The passport type photo that accompanies the packet (1 for each of you) should also be an original and should have been taken within the last 30 days as per the USCIS I-130 instructions.

We found it easiest to get the medical exam a day or so before the interview in Juarez.
