QUETTA: An alleged suicide bomber was killed Saturday by residents of Hazara Town in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan.

Capital City Police Officer Quetta, Mir Zubair Mehmood told Dawn.com that a suspected suicide bomber traveling on foot was killed by residents of Hazara Town in Quetta shortly before Iftar.

He said residents tried to stop the suspected bomber from entering the area but he refused to do so. “Residents then fired gunshots and killed him on the spot,” he said.

Mehmood said a suicide jacket and a hand grenade were recovered from his possession.

“A major terrorist attack was averted,” he claimed.

Another police official, DIG Operations Fayyaz Sumbal, confirmed that a suicide jacket was recovered from the attacker had been safely defused.

...

Quetta has witnessed a recent surge in incidents of violence, with sectarian militants repeatedly targeting the Hazara Shia community in several bombings and gun-attacks.

Why not? He died trying to kill Shia evildoers. Allah will surely praise him in the afterlife.

So it's a win- win for the terrorist? I guess he is not such a big loser after all devil.gif

I wonder if the villagers will employ the SYG defense? That's "extreme neighborhood watch" in action.

Another article to be cited by the NRA crowd.
