Hi Friends,

I have some question on this form ..

a) What should be the minimum income of spouse to sponsor his/her spouse? If her/his income is not enough , Can anyone be a co-sponsor?

For a co-sponsor, Is there any other form or he/she just need to fill I-864 ?

Thanks a ton guys.

you can find the minimum income on the form i864P , the poverty guideline

the joint sponsor will have to file his or her own i864 as joint sponsor, they must be a USC or LPR.

spouse will file the i864 as sponsor

Minimum depends on how many there are in your household, including minor kids not living with the sponsor.

Yes, a co-sponsor is allowed, they fill I-864 and the usual support docs, including proof they are a US citizen or resident living in the USA.

Topic has been moved from AOS from a Family based visa to AOS from a Work, Student and Visitor based visa as the OP is adjusting from a student/work visa status and is more appropriate addressed in this forum.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
