U.S. Embassy in Jamaica; 4-6 weeks to receive interview date for K1 Visa?

You don't have to email them, just call DOS in about one week, they can tell you your interview date. Then you can schedule your medical appointment.

Thanks for your advice. I called DOS and found out the interview has been scheduled and we were able to schedule the medical. jamaica still has not sent the interview date by mail or email--so I would have still been waiting.

Just remember that your DS230 needs to be sent in as soon as you have a KNG# to ensure that you get an interview date assigned to you ASAP. As eveyron else has mentioned interview dates are about 2-2.5 months out from the receipt of your DS230. Your,meaning the beneficiary.
