EAD card arrived yesterday, Sept. 11.

AOS still in RFE response review.

I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

Αaahh, it's been 57 days since we got our NOA and I've been obsessively checking my status every day. Can't wait for EAD and AP to get approved. Good thing is, that a few July fillers with the same (or almost same) timeline with me, have already been approved, so that's something nice.

Be patient, everyone!

Your I-129f was approved in 85 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 225 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

GREEN CARD APPROVED TODAY!!!!! dancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gif

I just received the following email from USCIS:

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production
On September 13, 2013, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you.

We had our interview yesterday. It was a nightmare! The interviewing officer was very hostile and said things like: why did you overstay your visa? What if Americans stayed illegally in Mexico? Would you like that? Why did you stay so long with your visa expired? She asked my wife things like: why did you divorce? (She had been divorced for a year before she married me) Why do you guys don't have more documents together? She was rude and we felt like we were treated like criminals. We didn't expect that. We were so worried that our application would be denied. We left the office and she only said we'll let you know later. I was so worried the whole day yesterday. This morning I woke up and saw a text and e-mail from USCIS with the good news.

The process has been very fast for us. Only 73 days from application to approval. I just have to wait to received my green card in the mail and continue to live my American Dream. It has been hard being undocumented for 18 years. I feel like waking up from a long, terrible nightmare. Is time to live life at it's fullest!!!!!!

Just a quick question to all those of you who got an interview appointment letter: Did your case status on the USCIS website change to 'interview and testing' (and then to 'decision' and so on)? Or is there anyone whose status online never changed when they moved up?

Oops, I meant to reply!

CONGRATS!

So Portland was rude in their interview? How long did the interview take? Any specific advice? We have ours on the 26th. You are the second couple who have had a bad experience there, which is unfortunate.
