Update, Update, Update!!!!

So Thursday I tried my luck and called in to check my case status.

As expected, the representative just told me what I can actually read online.

Come Saturday morning, I got an email from USCIS that my case was touched.

It has moved from Acceptance to Card production!

Wuhoo!!!

FYI: My case is being processed in the ATL office.

Also I got the possible interview waiver last November.

Now just waiting for the actual card to come in the mail.

They said to wait 30 days for the production...

Congrats to both of you!

I am glad to hear people from July getting their green cards... I got an RFE (used the old form I-864) back in August and then in Nov received the possible interview waiver, so I'm guessing I am one month behind. hmm, I don't know lol, my case is at the NBC

Good luck to everyone

I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

Update!

My I-485 was approved and my status is in card production!

Some info: Applied last July 2013, got RFE and responded by August 17th.... Then received letter of potential interview waiver on November.

Today finally it showed an update. The long wait is finally over, some rest for almost 2 years.

Good luck to anybody who is still waiting.

I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

Still nothing. NOA1 date of 18 July - no RFEs - EAD/AP expedited and received fine. And just nothing since. Chicago are so far behind, so I can't do a service request. As of 31 March, they were working on 1 July NOA1 dates.

Wow i am surprised you still don't have anything. They are so random. I got mine on march 17 and my NOA1 was july30. Also it looks like other july filers from the chicago area got approved as well. Maybe you can try contacting the congressman here. I was in contact with mine and they had done several service requests without response in february and in march i got approved so idk if it is a coincidence or they actually helped.

It gets worse! I informed USCIS that we were moving to Kansas and they acknowledged the change of address on 19 May. On 23 May, they sent us an interview letter to our OLD address. Because of the memorial holiday and the week's delay on forwarding mail, we received the letter on the afternoon of the interview (5 June). It says at the bottom that if you don't turn up, we have abandoned our petition and we will be denied. A Tier 2 officer at USCIS helped us and we should be okay. We will be interviewed in Kansas City.

I don't know why we are being called to an interview after 11 months waiting. And what forces are at work that the letter was sent at the worse possible time.

Tell me about it ! They decided to approve my AOS within the 3 weeks lapse i was gone while they had almost 8 months before to do so or they could have done after i got back (i was reluctant and stressed out about travelling with my AP and also getting a RFE while gone). It seems like they have the worst timing possible for many things in many cases !

And yea getting a possible interview waiver letter doesn't mean that after that much time they can't decide to finally give you an interview, while they could have done it at the beginning...
