Yeah, my RFE is still in review. They have another 3 weeks to review it and if nothing happens, I'm gonna call and ask what's going on. Anyone else's RFE still in review?

Yes, it was!

We just received another update which reads:

On December 13, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

During this step the formal decision (approved/denied) is written and the decision notice is mailed and/or emailed to the applicant/petitioner. You can use our current processing time to gauge when you can expect to receive a final decision.

I guess the welcome letter is on its way!

June 16, 2017 -- Oath Ceremony! He is a USC!!

We received the Welcome letter 2 days ago and the Green Card today!

Wishing the ones that still haven't received their GC, luck, patience, and speedy-delivery from USCIS soon!

Hopefully soon! Are you in NY? They tend to take longer because they have so many people; but if you haven't received an interview waiver letter, let's hope you get the GC approved soon!!! :)

NOA1 date on 18 July and we're still in the 'Acceptance' stage. Just wish something would happen.

My NOA1 is july 30 and just like you still in the acceptance stage. This is so frustrating.

If i haven't heard anything by the end of january (when i hit the 6 months mark) i will contact my congressman and see if i can get any help in moving things.

NVC received: 05/02/2013

NVC sent to Embassy: 05/06/2013 (only took 4 days !!)

Packet 3 received: 06/01/2013 (our son's 2nd birthday !!).Packet 3 response leaving in the mail on the next business day (06/04)

Medical: 06/11/2013

Interview: 06/18/2013. No packet 4 received, interview notice given on the phone the day before.

My NOA1 is july 30 and just like you still in the acceptance stage. This is so frustrating.

I called USCIS this afternoon and they said that it's within the processing time (I'm at Chicago). They are working on 3 May 2013. Yes, I said, but that has not been updated since 31 October! So frustrating. We haven't even got the interview waiver letter. I have my EAD/AP card but my local DMV office is being difficult and won't allow me to take my driving test until I have my Green Card.

So frustrating. We haven't even got the interview waiver letter. I have my EAD/AP card but my local DMV office is being difficult and won't allow me to take my driving test until I have my Green Card.

Yeah this is their strategy, put processing times that date back from a few month ago that doesn't reflect what is current so they can keep you waiting. I have been calculating that they should be hitting july files in january/february (the processing dates have been moving one month at a time since i have checked). I am at chicago as well and unfortunately they are not the fastest. This is why i plan on contacting my congressman at the end of the month.

Can you try going to a different DMV? Mine is woodstock IL and it was all good with just the EAD/AP card. I see you are in geneva, i am not too far away i am in crystal lake

I went to Elgin. Woodstock's not that far away from me. About 50 minutes or so. I might ask my husband about trying there (once the roads are a bit better!).

It will work just fine in woodstock i can guarantee you that. Plus it is not too crowded.

I would have tried every single DMV in the state if mine didn't accept the EAD because not having a DL is just impossible here...
