I think it's about time we got a July 2013 filers thread going, don't you all?

I'll get the ball rolling: I mailed out my AoS (adjusting from K1) on 06/28/2013. Receipt date was 07/03/2013. Got the biometrics interview scheduled for 08/01/2013 which is in less than a week.

Hoping for a smooth and hopefully fast process, though I could care less cause my now-wife is with me and that's all that matters

Just gonna post an update on my own post here. Went to the biometrics today as scheduled. Was pretty smooth and fast. Was in and out of there in 30 minutes.

I guess now the REAL wait begins, heh.

We filed AOS, EAD and AP concurrently. The package was package was sent FedEx Monday July 23. We got the NOA for EAD and AP July 24 and NOA for AOS July 26. We got 3 separate NOA hard copies yesterday. We are adjusting status from K1.

No email or text NOA yet

So received NOA for all 3. My application status for i130 and i765 on uscis website says its under intinal review but My I-485 Case Status says "Your case is being processed at our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER location". I am adjusting from F-1 and wondering if this is normal that the processing will be done at NBC.

well I'm a July filer sent mine in on June 28 got NOA1 on July 2, biometrics appointment on august 5, then they sent me a RFE on July 31, received my hard copy on Aug 3, to my relief I sent in an outdated I-864 affidavit of support new version came out in march didn't realize it was wrong form . Since that all they need we r on cloud now because you never know. Off to his biometrics appointment in the morning after dropping the forms in the mail.

hey July filers!

we sent our package July 20 and they received it on July 22. NOA on July 24 and biometrics on August 21!

Mailed my AOS packet June 28, received NOA1 July 2 . Got Biometrics Appointment for August 5, received RFE on July 31, hard copy said my I-864 affidavit of support was filled out on expired form duh for me. But i just downloaded new version and off it went today. We drove 2 1/2 hours for a appointment that lasted 10 minutes if you count checking in with security. At east we have it done back to the waiting game.

Hi there !

I am also a july filer (end of july but still july!). I mailed the AOS/EAD/AP package on july 24th. My NOA1 for all three applications is july 30th.

Now waiting for the biometrics letter.

How long do you think we should expect to wait for the AOS approval? It seems that without an interview the wait is close to a year. When will we know if we have to go to an interview?

Also my AOS case status has remained in acceptance. Apparently they do that to a bunch of applications. Do you guys also have this?

I think that's normal. Mine's also still in "Acceptance" and we did our biometrics last Thursday.

yeah and this is weird, why not putting it in initial review like it did for the K1. Apparently NBC is bad at updating case status.

So aree our files going to stay at NBC or will they be transferred to local offices? Or is it just in case of interview?

Notice date: 7/15

RFE: 8/7 (forgot to include copy of co-sponsor's passport)

Biometrics: 8/9

RFE response received: 8/17

All my stuff is still at the NBC, too. Getting the GC soon would be nice, but I also just really want the EAD, so I can start working.
