We had our AOS interview this morning and everything went well! We were approved on the spot, the process was relatively easy and the officer very professional. So happy to take a break from immigration even for a few months.

Your I-129f was approved in 85 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 225 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS

NOA1: 07/18/13

Biometrics: 08/13/13

EAD/AP approved: 09/17/13

AOS Interview: 10/10/13 (approved)

You can call them, but really all they do is read your status to you and tell you to wait however many days it says in your status to wait for. Or they might look up your local office's wait time and tell you that you're still within normal processing times. The USCIS call center is pretty worthless...

I'm sure your EAD is coming soon. If you call them they're only going to tell you that EAD processing currently takes 3 months, so don't waste your time.

Hi Sushi&Charlie.......its seems our RFE was around the same time...My 60 day Response review will be due on the 19th of this month but still hasnt heard anything from USCIS...When is yours due and have u received anay info from them?

my husband's i485 is still in acceptance!!!sad.png can someone please tell me whats the hold up??????

I think u are amongs some of us who will not get an interview...and cos of that USCIS may not change your case status until card is ordered for production....but u should still consider calling the USCIS to find out why your case is still in acceptance cos i believe it should at least be in initial review...Good luck

Our case is the same and it is still in acceptance stage since July 15th. Do you know how long it would take (avg) for this process?

Count me in as well amongst the ones who is still in acceptance, and if I'm not mistaken I'm the earliest July filer in here because I actually mailed my package June 28. Receipt date July 3.

I guess it's safe to assume I'm a no interview case. At least I got EAD and AP in 64 days though.

According to the timelines,we may not get an interview. And it takes 6 to 9 months for the GC to be processed.I think that is the disadvantage of we not having an interview..But once you EAD/AP is approved,u can work and travel and live a normal life...One thing i have realized is that,USCIS will do what they want...Calling them 100 times don't even solve the issue of getting your GC on time...so just take your mind off it and save the stress...It will be ready at the time They want and not the time the applicant wants...so i have relaxed and working and i will be going home soon...The more u think about it the more u get stressed out...However,one thing i know for sure, once u filled the AOS with all required evidence, your case cant be abandoned..You will sure get your GC but the waiting is the problem..so lets just deal with it friends.......THANKS
