I did call the hotline over a week ago to make sure I did not miss my interview schedule if, by one reason or another, the notice did not arrive in the mail. The guy I spoke with said that my case was in Missouri and that he was going to make a note to "expedite". I asked him about an interview schedule and he just said it is in process in Missouri and was not more helpful than that. The reference number was for future inquiries via the hotline. I would call them again since my case has been in "interview and testing" status for over 1 month but if this trend of getting GC approved without an interview persists-- then I will just patiently wait. Besides, I've EAD, SSN and DMV license on hand-- all the documents I would need (for now) to find a job and start my life.

Maybe you should give it a try red42. Tell us how it goes.

i just called them today they told me you need to wait till we send u mail for interview date,time.......they didnt give me any reference number.they asked in which state & city u r living?once i told them atlanta ,ga they told me u r still in processing time right now we r working on jan 17,2013 cases...sad.png

Yeah bit I received a mail that I don't need to go to an interview for the GC.. I'm patiently waiting smile.png

Are you adjusting from K-1? I am assuming that since you had a prior interview for your K-1 visa they can waive the AOS interview.

Sein oder Nichtsein, das ist heir die Frage.

Please can someone answer me.

July 30 Noa1 , still no EAD/AP approval and AOS still in acceptance.

Is there any july filer left outhere without EAD/AP?? My timeline is in my signature, bimetrics rescheduled and done 2 weeks later. Can this postpone me? Also i was impatient while waiting for the new appointment letter so i had put a service request for no appointment letter received but i received it the next day.... Can this useless service request can delay me or messed up my file?

I'm sure everything is fine, I think the average for the EAD/AP is around 67 days and we all know from our K-1 experiences how non-average USCIS can be. As for AOS it doesn't seem to unusual for people to hear nothing about it and have no status updates for months especially if they aren't going to be given an interview and are adjusting from a K-1. I don't think your biometrics issue will cause much if any delay, you might just be one of thoses cases that falls outside 60 days processing, hopefully it will come through in the next week!

AOS+EAD Received 8-13-13

I don't think there is any issue for you. I received my Noa on July 19 and just received EAD/AP card couple of days ago after 69 days. Don't worry!

It makes me sad that the status for our AOS on the USCIS website is still on "Acceptance."

Acceptance

On July 23, 2013, your fingerprint fee was accepted and we have mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. Your case is being processed at our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER location. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

During the acceptance step USCIS reviews newly received applications and petitions to ensure that they are properly filed (i.e. signed by the applicant, appropriate fees, etc.) USCIS issues a receipt number for the application or petition, and sends a receipt notice to the applicant or petitioner.

Applications and petitions that are not properly filed are rejected with an explanation of why the application is rejected and the corrective action needed. Rejected applications or petitions do not retain their filing date.

The acceptance step is typically completed within 2 business days of when the application is received. With mail time it may take several weeks for you to get the receipt or rejection notice in the mail. If you do not receive your notice within 30 days of mailing your application, please contact our national customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.
