Hi Every One !

I was interviewed on 29th January 2013 in US Embassy Islamabad. Visa Officer took my passport and put into proceedings. On the site of CEAC my case was “PENDING” till one month. Later on it was updated as "NO STATUS". I sent 2 web based E-mails. In reply they said it is in Administrative Processing. Its 6th month is continued and no change happening in my case status.

Please guide me, is it normal duration or it is a matter of concern now ???????? I am bit depressed and worried now.

Please share your knowledge…………………………….

It sucks waiting but inshAllah keep waiting patiently your time will come. But now try to involve a congressmen or senator to help inquire about your case. or email the embassy and ask why its taking so long. keep trying. maybe just send the embassy some more pictures of your wedding. or some more proof.

sadly, with what i am reading on VJ, it is quite common for it to take 6 months. Personally, I will recommend do dua from Allah and pray for what is best for you..

When you emailed the embassy, how long did it took them to respond back??

It seems that they don't reply to inquiries. I'm surprised they replied!! But yeh nice to know how long it took them....
