Me too. I've never seen such fondness for an inanimate object in my life. You'd think people would get bored with making an object create loud noises over and over. I guess since that loud bang can possibly kill someone, that makes it more fun. To each his own I guess.

buy backs are conducted by the local/state government. it's not the same as

a local gun market.

i wonder what denigrating terms you'd choose to describe the ones behind the buy back program.

Part of the value of a buy back program is knowing your gun is not going to shoot someone. The money is an added bonus.
