Liberal logic: The city or state offers a widow $50 in a guy buyback. Somebody pays the widow $100 dollars instead. Because they paid $100 instead of $50, they swindled the widow.

If you read Gary's post again you were find he was scoffing at widows. Due to their lack of knowledge they were offering to sell at ridiculously low prices, and he decided to make a profit by offering twice their asking price. To do this to an elderly widow is worse than a rattlesnake.
