My Fiancee just scheduled the medical in Sydney and they said they will mail the results to the consulate. I always thought and have also read that the results need to be taken to the interview by Fiancee. Isn't that true?

Usually the results are sent to the applicant who then mails them in to the consulate along with the rest of the documents listed in Packet 3. However I believe the Sydney doctor mails the results directly to the consulate. They are not usually taken along to the interview, although they can be if they were not ready to be mailed in with packet 3.

just had the medical today, bit of a mission but reasonably straight forward. The sydney Doctor sends examination results directly to US Consulate, thats why you need to take the express post envelope. Then you have to keep the xrays and take them with you to interview and then have them with you when you enter the US

I had to carry my results and the xray to the US Consulate but we live in Brisbane so I am not sure about if you live in Sydney.

Thank you so much guys for the great information. So basically the Consulate will have the medical results when she goes for the interview. Will those results be given back to her after the interview to carry it with her to US along with the xrays?

Mm interesting maybe it was because my visa was not a fiancé visa. My visa is a IR 1, but I definitely took them with me. My husband picked them up from the doctor surgery and I physically carried them to the consulate on the day of my interview and gave them to the first window I went to.

The results will be placed inside the "Do Not Open" envelope that will be mailed to her along with her passport. She will hand that envelope in when she enters the US. If she wants a copy of the medical results she can ask consular official at the interview to make her a copy.

Yes once I got my visa it came with a big yellow envelope that said "do not open" which I am assuming are my medical records and visa information to give to the "POE" officer when I arrive in the USA.
