Alien number on biometric apt VS alien number on GC

Hi guys! I have recently passed the interview for AOS ( 2 days ago), now i need to apply for a job which ask about alien number. Thus, can i used the alien number on the biometric apt? If no, who should i contact to ask for that kind of infomation, thanks

Thanks for your quick reply though! I just want to make sure that they are the same number! And btw, do u have any idea about when i can use my A-number, just because they (uscis) have just registered me as permanent resident on jul 23.

A# is on your GC as well as your paperwork.

But, I don;t think an employer can legally ask for your A#. Sounds fishy.

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!
