Does Affidavit of support approved by NVC Can be denied by embassy during interview ?

Timeline

I prepared Aos with my joint sponsor. My joint sponsor hardly meets the requirements. But it is approved by Nvc. This year our both income are nice. In this case does embassy can deny affidavit of support during interview? plz suggest some ideas.

Ultimately, the decision to approve the income on the AOS is done by the CO at the interview. So yes, even if the AOS passes NVC's inspection/guidelines, the CO at the embassy/consulate may have different guidelines, thus denying the AOS until a joint sponsor is found. If you and your joint sponsor are near the poverty lines, I'd suggest having both employment letters and very recent pay stubs from the both of you in time for the interview. And just hope for the best. Good luck.
