Eventually got this NOA2 a year after I first sent the thing off. Now I hope the rest of these July 2012 people get theirs! The USCIS need to change their ways and process the files in order like they are supposed to.

WOW, I am so happy for you that you finally got yours! :)

It looks like they finally found the box containing your files lol. I see another July 2012 filer got their approval yesterday too. It gives me hope that JBForever gets theirs as well.

1 year....wow!....did you get an RFE? Now things should be moving pretty smoothly/quickly....Give it a week and start calling NVC for a case number....Goodluck!

Thanks! No we didn't get an RFE. Why should we call for the case number? why is that important?

At least in the Philippines (I would think this would also be true in UK.......Dept. of State protocols)....NVC assigns the case #, then forwards your file to the particular embassy of your beneficiary. Once you have the case #, you can pay the required fees and make an interview appointment after medical. Goodluck!
