We had fun with a game like this on Christmas Eve a few years ago. Our guests that year included relatives of my son-in-law..his parents, grandmother, cousins, etc. Because we didn't even know each other and there weren't any small children to enjoy opening gifts, I wanted to think of some not-cheesy games to give us something to do after eating. My husband dreamed up his logo game and created all the partial logos and put them in a slideshow and used the TV as the computer monitor. Everybody had answer sheets to fill out. We broke it into short rounds with a prize winner for each. The group play was fun because of the shouts and laughter when people knew or didn't know or were just so close but couldn't nail it down. He was requested to make another version the next year. We also had a version of fill in the lyrics with lines from Christmas songs. I really, REALLY hate that game where everybody brings a gift and you pass out numbers to see who gets to pick from the stash or take another person's gift. It seriously annoys me.

I will get hubby to try your game and report back how he does.

I only got the blue box with white bow and a random lucky guess on the orange peel looking one.

The slogans I got were American like "finger licking' good".

Hubby has wasted time on it all day and now has 70 slogans and quite a few photos. Meanwhile I waste my time on VJ

It's too Hot to do anything. We went to the grocery store just now and the car outside temp read 104F (40C). Yikes. It's probably really only 99F though.

Crazy warm. This is why I have to move somewhere mostly overcast.

I'm might give the game another whirl now.. I know what a blue label is with an orange peel, so maybe I didn't try hard enough earlier.

That was my plan too (and it's working!) - off to the US next Sat for a visit to try and make the wait for NOA2 go quicker...
