Medical and CFO: DONE

My fiancee finished her Medical and CFO in a 4 day, brutal, sleepless stay in Manila. I have to say I have been wreck too! Waiting for her to call with results has been nerve-racking to say the least BUT she is DONE. Whew! We can breath a little easier for now!

Next up, Embassy interview on Sept 19th and I am excited to say I am able to go with her. :)

SLEC

As far as reviews go for SLEC, here is a great walk through:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/443259-my-slec-experience-timeline/

It was posted in real time by "Cha n Nel" who was there the same day as Rossel. Not much to add for SLEC.

CFO

My fiancee actually enjoyed the CFO seminar and said she learned a lot. She used Rob and Ann's website to prepare:

http://philippinefiancevisa.weebly.com/review1.html

Thank you Rob and Ann for this valuable information. It took a LOT of the stress out of the seminar for Rossel. I HIGHLY recommend this site to give you or your fiance(e) or spouse an idea of what to expect.

I was only able to talk to Rossel briefly but here is what I know so far.

Only documents the counselor asked for was my birth certificate and divorce decree. She only looked at one picture of us together. She did not keep anything for her records.

Only questions asked:

How and when we met?

My age?

My daughters name?

My fiancee said that she added a LOT of information in her answers, like my birthplace, daughter's age/DOB and grade level. She thinks that because of her knowledge and confidence the counselor kept questions to a minimum. Apparently some girls were asked a LOT more question but Rossel wasn't sure why.

If I get anymore information from Rossel I will post it but I think that sums it up. All I can say is review Rob and Ann's website, arm yourself with documents and be confident.

GOOD LUCK!,

Genesis 2:22-24
Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called 'woman, ' for she was taken out of man." For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.

Can i ask tho why the interview was set on sept 19? was it because that was the earliest slot available at the embassy sched? or you just opted for that date ?

I had to have time to arrange my leave from work :). There were a lot of open slots for interviews when I scheduled ours though but that was about a month and a half ago.
