Today, seeing that others here whose case(s) had been transferred from VSC to TSC, had been approved, but the approval did not show up at the USCIS online status, I decided to call. I explained to the Tier I rep:

"I've heard that there was a group of applicants who had been transferred from VSC to TSC who had been approved around July 6th, but the approval was not actuated on the USCIS website, and so I would like to be transferred to a Tier II rep since, as I understand it, you cannot see the status of our I-129F. The rep said: "Since you have already talked to someone I'll send you through and added: You can either have us call you, in which case it can take 2-5 days, or I can put you through and it will tell you how long you must wait to talk to a Tier II rep."

So I opted to be put through and a recording said: "your wait is estimated to be 310 minutes." I opted to enter my number for a call-back, though knowing that since the service center closed at six PM, it was unlikely that they would call back tonight.

Juliet and I were studying together on Skype around 9:45PM when I received a text message: "Your Case #xxxx is now updated, check: 'My Case Status' at www.uscis.gov.

Checking the status we found that it had changed from earlier this evening from "Initial Review," to:

"On July 24, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

It took 159 days from receipt of NOA1."

Our timeline here at VisaJourney had once estimated the maximum end date of processing to be August 27th, so we were processed 9 days beyond the USCIS goal of 150 days but 33 days less than what VJ once estimated. (Note: the estimated times had been sequentially shortened over the past few months).

Thanks to all those who posted who gave us clues as to how, and when to call to expedite things.

Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called 'woman, ' for she was taken out of man." I finally was able to speak to a T2 officer today, and I don't think I've ever been spoken to like that in my life. My NOA1 is March 1, transfer to TSC on 7/10. So technically I am a few days under the 5 month estimate, but with all these approvals left and right for other transfers, many of which aren't updating to the USCIS website I just wanted to check on mine. It's a simple inquiry and I was extremely polite. She literally yelled at me for calling, essentially yelled at me for even applying for a K1 visa. I'm just shocked.

But hopefully I at least ruffled a feather that will move my case to someone.

If you took down the ID# and/or name, and the time of call, you could make a complaint via your Senator or Representative.

Perhaps if the CS Rep disliked her job so much she could be humanely relieved of it, after all, there are a few million others who would enjoy a government job (with pension).

You could wait till your NOA2 is approved. There is no excuse for that sort of treatment and remember, your phone call was recorded. A complaint will likely get it reviewed.
