She can call as much as she wants. It will not delay the process.

A spouse visa for Egyptian can take 10 months up to years

Does she live with you in Egypt?

If she does then sometimes the first step usually takes less than 2 months instead of the 6-8 months

First you got the NOA1

Then you will get NOA2--which might be a RFE-request for more evidence of relationship

What did she send with the packet?

Then your file goes to NVC and you have many forms and papers to send to NVC

this step can take 1 month or 10 months-depends on how prepared you are

I think you need to do alot of reading or your wife does to be prepared for the many steps involved and to get through them quickly

Good Luck

May 24, 2011 NOA1

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

PLEASE EDIT YOUR TIMELINE IN YOUR PROFILE SO OTHERS CAN LEARN HOW LONG EACH STEP TAKES IN THIS PROCESS

it is totally dependent on the office that is approving your file.. meaning.. their volume
