I have one dated 06/30/12 , but which has the date 06/22/12 at the bottom . The dates you stated are the ones at the bottom ?

That's right right. The version date is at the bottom. The expiration date is at the top. Although the current version came out out long after the previous expiration date. Go figure.

Word of wisdom, which you might or might not already know: It's much easier to travel with an infant than with a toddler, sigh man...

At first I hit panic mode , but then saw the opportunity of my situation . We have to wait longer , but at least the 3 of us would be flying home together . This way the baby will be a wee bit older when flying .

I agree with TBone. I've flown with my daughter, who has ranged from 3 months old to 9 years old. The easiest was the baby and still nursing stages, the hardest was the early toddler stage, before they can talk or express themselves very well, but enjoy moving too much for planes. It gets a bit easier as they get older too, she reads or plays video games. LOL Making for the carry on to be much lighter. We still joke about the time she fell over from her backpack's weight and couldn't get up. Looked rather like a turtle on her back. LOL

I hope you are able to get everything sorted out as needed. Best of luck to you and your family! :)

Update on my RFE . Got the letter which they claimed was mailed July 16th . Had a date stamped on it for July 23rd . Anyway it's something stupid , but as stated in this posting gives me a great chance to add the K2 . They are asking for an original letter of intent which was provided . I used a black sharpie small point which I think they thought was a copy . Asking for original , so they did not lose it in the process . Thanks everyone for helping and its OK that it got out of hand . Don't worry about it I got the information needed and then some .

YAY! At least it was a simple RFE and you have this opportunity. Best wishes and luck to your family :)

When I think about its kind of my fault using that pen . It does look like a photo copy .

I made my husband sign the I-130 using a blue pen. He needed to use black for the NVC stage (CR1 is different that way from K1) but I didn't want any questions with the I-130 package not being original!

Live and learn right? The best lessons are the ones from mistakes. Maybe it was supposed to work out this way so that you could add your daughter onto your I-129F. Who knows!

A simple RFE to rectify and you get to add the child to a revised I-129F. This was actually a good delay. For the letter of intent, lay the paper on top of a magazine or anything else with a slightly softer surface, use a ballpoint pen and that way the indent of where you sign will show through the paper.

This is the packet I am putting together for the RFE response . I do not want to include too much , but enough to help us at the interview . Now that this will all be in the file and a greater chance for the CO to see it . This is what I have so far . The G325A is for a correction of the beneficiary address I got wrong in the I-129F . I changed it so I figured I would include it to avoid another RFE .

RFE yellow copy on top

Cover Letter for packet

Brief letter explaining the reason for updated I-129F

Letter of acknowledgement about the baby

Updated I-129F with baby listed

Updated G325A address correction for beneficiary

Letter to fiancee (talking about forgiving and about the baby dated 05/07/2013 )

Engagement Ring purchase 06/25/2013 which has my name and address on it

And of course the Letter of intent petitioner signed on a soft magazine in black ballpoint pen smile.png

Was thinking to include pictures of all the baby clothes and things I got , but I will make a small sample for the interview instead

Thanks everyone for the help I feel so much better since this RFE . I really feel it did happen for this very reason .

One question can I overnight this ? I will be using USPS which does deliver to PO boxes .

I think a copy of the receipt for the baby clothes will work better. :) But that all sounds great! They may need a copy of the baby's birth certificate, I'd check that or you might end up with a second RFE or worse. :c

Birth certificates of the foreign fiance(e) and their children are not required with the I-129F petition.

My question is if the beneficiary is still pregnant by the time of her visa approval and she is medically cleared to travel, will she be allowed to travel to the US and give birth in the US?

And how would this apply if the biological father is not the petitioner and cannot be found or does not want any involvement with the unborn child?
