Hello everyone,

My wife arrived on a K1 visa, and we have since gotten married and sent her documents in to adjust her status. Her documents are in process.

However, my question is this. She has a friend in Philadelphia and her friend wants her to visit. In her passport it says that her visa has expired in June, however we were married within the 90 days and all of her green card documents are sent and in process like i said. Can she fly within the USA? We are in Utah and would be flying to Philadelphia, PA. Would there be any problems?

Awesome, thanks so much for replying Sus smile.png

She is going to need a valid current government ID when she flies. An expired passport is not going to be accepted at the airport.

As long as Philly isn't across any borders its no different than going to the grocery store.

She has to carry her passport with her at all times UNTIL she receives either her EAD/AP card or green card.. then she carries that. This from the mouth of the border agent during one of our rides.... yup we have to pass through customs/border patrol check points riding about here in AZ... sucks.

No reason to carry a copy of the NOA from AOS.
