Detroit is a good example of that. Everyone split when crime got out of control. That pretty much left the criminals to run rampant. Now look at it.

I'm sure the same thing happened in other cities.

i don't think everyone split when crime got out of control..people have been leaving steadily for years as people are inclined to do when there are no jobs, no means to support yourself or your family.

Its going to spiral out of control as the dollar weakens.

So there was a break in the action. The two "talked" for a few seconds.

I'm still missing something here. You're alleging it went from "talking" by both parties to GZ reaching for a cell phone and thats why TM punched him, jumped on top of him, then started slamming his head into the ground?

If that's the case what does anything at all that happened before that point matter? You keep bringing up GZ "chasing" TM. If there was a break in that chase where both were able to ask questions, then any confrontation from then on begins a new set of circumstances.

I'm going to rewatch it. If she did, in fact, shoot him in the foot, this is not a case of SYG or even self defense. She'll be doing 20 to life.

What are you missing? I didn't allege anything, I told you what was said by GZ and the witness. GZ said that TM walked up to him when he was looking at the steet sign. This defense was thrown out by his own lawyers.

What is this a video game? If someone is chasing you and you meet them, the prior chase is inadmissable? What happened? Did the reset button get pushed?

And Dee Dee warned TM that he could be a potential rapist. Perhaps Trayvon didn't want the creepy A.C. following him to where he was staying.

I floated this earlier, was told it was silly. It seems like GZ's actions are only creepy to folks like us. The pro gun crowd swears there was nothing wrong with what he did.

Sure they did. First they moved to the suburbs in the 70s and early 80s. The jobs were still in Detroit, you just have to drive further to get to them. Then in the 80s when they kept making crappy cars, there were no more Auto jobs, so they just left Michigan altogether.

I lived in a house on the west side of Detroit around 1985. The guys across the street were crack dealers and didn't like neighbors. So they just burned down the houses on either side of them. Problem solved.

Also, you can thank programs like forced bussing for speeding up the process of Detroits downfall. The auto unions put the final nail in the coffin I think. But the major driving force behind people leaving the city of Detroit was the out of control crime. Now if you call a cop, the average response time is something like an hour, if they show up at all.

Detroit is the shining example of the Democrat party's policies at work. Take a trip sometime. Check it out. It looks like Berlin in 1945 after the allies bombed the hell out of it for 3 years. Don't forget to bring a camera and some firearms, because calling a cop wont help you.

Maybe the Canadians will swoop in with their strong dollar and save it. They bought the Silverdome for 500k USD in 2009. It was built in 1975 at a cost of $225 million in todays dollars. That ought to tell you something right there.

I doubt the auto bailout saved any jobs in the city of Detroit itself. Those jobs were long gone before GM and Chrysler went bankrupt. It's not really the current workers that will lose everything, it's the retired workers. They city is trying to get out of paying their pensions.

It's really pretty simple. Until the AA community starts taking responsibility for it's own problems instead of blaming GZ and the white man for all of their ills, things will only get worse for them. It's much easier to blame someone else that look at you're own issues. Al and Jesse are masters at that though. As long as their are the voice of that community, don't expect anything to change.
