Patriot gets a lot wrong ang totally missed the legal part of the trial but you should not call him a moron

Patriot is not an attorney, it did not surprise me he couldn't read the law and thought GZ was the only defendant in the history of the US that had the burden of proof. For an alleged "attorney" to think acquitted people should be punished anyway is bizarre!

You think guns should be confiscated from people with no criminal record?

He was acquitted, but his property should be siezed anyway? Have you heard of due process? Should we take his apartment and car because if he didn't live there and had no car this wouldn't happen?

There is no possible way you are a divorce attorney, or even watched any law TV shows, which is disappointing because I really wanted you to be Alla's attorney if she ever divorces me.

I mean how badly are you people upset over the fact that you had no clue what the law entailed. The result was no surprise to anyone that can read the law, there was never any other possible outcome. That you imagined there was does not obligate the justice system to appease you by abusing American's rights!

Maybe English isn't your first language so I'll excuse the inability to understand what I wrote. The way I explained it was quite clear. I actually never mentioned the law period.

You can't give an explanation that the person obviously showed poor judgement and yet be fine with giving the person their firearm back. It had nothing to do with being "legal" it had to do with making a reasonable assessment of ones responsibility level. It would be like you and a keyboard, i.e. the two don't always mix well, but nothing illegal about it...but yet you're still entertaining.

8. She thinks Zimmerman should get to keep his gun. Despite her conclusion that Zimmerman “went overboard” and was “guilty of not using good judgment,” the juror dismissed Cooper’s question as to whether Zimmerman should now have a gun. “It doesn't worry me,” she said. “I think he would be more responsible than anybody else on this planet right now.” Strange as it may seem to outsiders, this is how many people steeped in gun culture see the world: Character drives all other questions. A man who has “good in his heart” should be allowed to keep his firearm, even after using poor judgment and killing an unarmed adversary.

It was the juror not the Patriot. I know Gary can't comprehend all that well, but expect more from you Nelson.

Given the news we have today it is clear that racism had nothing to do with the verdict. The jury followed the law. They did not have to like the law or agree with the law...they had to follow the law.

English is my third language, but I can write it in cursive.

Poor judgement is not a disqualifying offense for owning firearms. GZ has a right to own firearms if he has no disqualifying offenses. The juror is following the LAW. "Reasonable assessment of responsibilty level" is not your job, or the juror's job.

I can absolutely give an expanation that you, for example, show extremely poor judgement in carrying a concealed .32 auto to protect your son from bear attacks....but I am OK with you doing it. It is legal and that is all I care about. The juror does not have to like what GZ does, she just has to follow the law.

Why would you have a problem with it? If you wish to make "good judgement" a qualifier for owning firearms, contact your elected representatives to change the law.
