You know, I don't get off on the whole making people pay stuff. To me the sentence is over when the person is no longer likely to do the crime for which they were sentenced. Now I don't mean to make light of the obvious limitations there are to actually root causing and "fixing" all people sentenced to jail but we must not lose sight of this being the entire purpose. I think we're far to content with using jails to write people off and get them out of society so to speak.

Unfortunately, you're in the small minority in that regard I think.

Anytime you have an all white jury, and the victim is black/brown, chances are you're going to have problems. That's one of the stigmas of being black, you will be on trial for your own murder.

For sure. And I'll admit to times of blood lust when they catch people like Holmes and Tsarnaev. I want them strung up just like most people post event. But then you realize they've clearly been brainwashed one way or another or have some sort of mental stability issue and there are likely things to learn from them.

I don't think I've ever seen an all black jury, the closest was OJ, I think it was 8 or 9 black and the rest were white and mixed. I think there should be a balance to make sure everyone's point of view gets put across. If it was an all white jury, OJ would have been in jail a long time ago.

So black juries are incapable of finding a black person guilty?

You'll have to get in line with all the other CABA chicks.

What if I told you My parents were PI, I was born in France, moved to Britain and then got work in Japan? And also I was a gay male/female?

If you don't post a pic you are racist!

Here's my take on it;

I think when it boils down to it, we can make the same decisions as anyone else. Back then in the case of OJ, it was the 90's, racism was still active. Rodney King was still a hot button topic, and the same rules were in effect, a black life isn't worth the same. When OJ came out, I really believe the black folks on the jury voted wrong because OJ was black and they felt like for once we should have things go our way. Do I agree with it? Heck no. But that's what it was. It's the same for all white juries, look at all the cases where there were a buttload of evidence a white man killed a black man, and they still were acquitted.
