Today, we found out, we have been approved for our NOA2 ^__^ What makes it twice as sweet, is that, I am in Hefei, with my wife, to celebrate it ! She was so happy, she couldn't control herself. We are having dinner tonight, with the family, wife has gone to the market, I told her to buy some good Hai Xian, for our special dinner tonight !

Our wait, was over 5 months, I guess, that is around normal. I truly believe, that having Senator Vitter's office, contacting them for us, 3 times, has really helped. What it did, was to take our case, from the LARGE pile, and put it on someone's desk. All I know is, that as long as he is running for office, I have yard space, for his signs ^__*

Also, thanks to the people, that have provided me, with answers, to my dumb questions !

Yay !

Since yer in country, collect them civil docs, scan in at a copy shop to pdf, don't forget the GUZ IV P3 Supplemental thingie..

Aw heck - just make a complete IV/DS-230 set and scan it in before you leave ..... Saves some time when NVC is ready, if you choose to go the EP route.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Congratulations on your approval ! We All Applaud your accomplishment with Most Wonderful Kissies !

Thanks Darnell, your assistance, has been invaluable to me ! I already have all the civil documents, in pdf files, wife did them last month. I have been using this guide http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/LingChe_NVC_ShortCut and I have all our documents ready, yes, we plan to go the EP route.

Thank you for the heads up. on the GUZ IV P3 Supplemental thingie, that one, I didn't know about !

ya, tis time to review my GUZ EP wiki, over at

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Electronic_Processing

LingChe is GREAT for paper filers, and gives some backgrounder needed for EP, but doesn't address EP directly.
