Your fiancé, the petitioner, very likely will get a letter from NVC with the MNL # on it, at some point, I still suggest your fiancé email NVC so that you have a email from NVC with the MNL # it that you can use for St. Luke's.

You do not need the NVC letter to schedule your appointment. You, the beneficiary, may or may not get a letter from the embassy, and not having it will not delay your interview.

It is possible that you will have an email from USEM confirming the interview, if not remember to print extra copies of the confirmation page from scheduling online.

Thanks Hank you've been very helpful. Our case is now in Manila when I tracked it using DHL. And my fiance have yet to receive it. No letter and no email as of today. Is there a way to request NVC or USEM to email to him.

For NVC, either you or your fiance can email them to request the MNL # (this will confirm your file has shipped as well):

E-mail: NVCInquiry@state.gov I highly recommend you email NVC for the MNL #, even if you call and get it, this will give you a correspondence from NVC with the MNL # for future reference. The email request for your MNL # is also a great way to track when your file is forwarded to USEM as NVC will not reply to the email until that time. ;)

REQUIRED SECURITY INFORMATION:

You are required to provide the following security information with each inquiry to receive a case specific response:

* NVC Case Number or USCIS Receipt Number (Place in the subject line of the e-mail).

* Petitioner's name and date of birth.

( NOTE: If the visa petition is employment-based, include the employer's company/organization name instead of the petitioner's name and date of birth. )

* Principal Applicant's name and date of birth.

After you schedule online with USEM just print out the confirmation page. With Phil Post not the best for delivery letters I would not hold my breath waiting for a letter from USEM.

Hank

Thanks again, the problem, I did email them a day after we have gotten the MNL case number asking for it but until we haven't heard from them. I emailed them again today though.

I emailed them on July 9th, and just got a response yesterday (July 25). So not as fast as I was thinking. I did get a letter notification about a week after.

To be admitted into St. Lukes for your medical, you can use your MNL case number and a printout of your interview confirmation.

You won't need a letter from the NVC. Also, you won't need the letter from the Embassy notifying you that you are eligible to schedule an interview and giving you interview preparation instructions.
