F1 Visa with USC Spouse

Hello ,

I am currently in F1 visa ( for last 6 years - since 2007 ) . My visa expired last year ( 2012 early June) and I am still enrolled in school - F1 status is good . I got married to a US citizen late June 2012. I didn't apply for AOS / Green Card. I have plans to go back to home country after graduation.

I need to go outside USA this year - december. I need to apply for F1 visa again. I have a valid I20 and I have 2 or 3 more years to finish my PhD.

Can you please tell me what kind of difficulties or risk I might face ?

please share your experience if you have faced the same situation.

09/25/2013 - Biometrics Appointment date

10/15/2013 - Got hard copy interview date for 11/19/2013

11/05/2013 - EAD / AP approved

11/12/2013 - EAD / AP in mail

11/14/2013 - EAD / AP received

11/19/2013 - Initial interview date - Approved

11/22/2013 - Welcome letter received

11/25/2013 - GC mailed .. SMS / EMAIL

11/29/2013 - GC received

With a USC husband you might be asked for proof that you return to your home country.

April 15, 2014 APPROVED. Wait for oath ceremony

Waited...

September 29, 2015 - sent letter to senator.

October 16, 2015 - US Citizen

I am not sure how to show proof that I will return ?

I have my father, mother, brother and all the relatives in home country. However I dont own any property in my home country.

My wife is also planning to move with me once I finish my degree. My only tie to USA is my wife.

If anyone has such experience please share.
