I put in a service request (6 months out) and less than one week after I got my NOA2. I asked for a Tier 2 rep but the nice man I was speaking to helped me instead. We waited 6 months to the day for our approval. This was my second K1 (1st in 2005) and no RFE's on either. Patience and persistance will help you go far. Good luck on your journey.

I am also a February filer and I just recently (7/15) submitted a service request and received a response today. Here was the response:

"The status of this service request is:

We recognize and understand your interest in adjudicative action on your pending petition. Based on the information you have provided, we will process your case in an expedient manner. While we are unable to provide a specific timeframe for adjudication, please know that your case will be pulled and routed to the appropriate unit for review as soon as is available."

I have also contacted a senator who inquired on my behalf. All the senate's office reported was that my case is now flagged with a congressional inquiry status and they are mandated to respond within 45 days.

It sure is difficult to be patient.......... especially, like you said, the information is so inconsistent depending on which representative you speak with. You can call back to back all day long and get different answers. The only thing you know for sure they are going to say is "You need to call back in X amount of days"
