They (texas) recieved our info packet to the RFE on 7/16

Just wondering if anyone has had recent experience with an approval to an RFE from Texas and how much time it took?

Thanks

I don't have any experienced since I just received my NOA1 BUT... evrytime you look at a timeline, you can see than the NOA2 (so approval petition) was issued really soon after RFE was received, sometimes even a few days after they received it (and then reviewed them)

This is why I kind of think that RFE is not that bad since you're losing a few weeks but at the same time you know the wait is almost over.

Good luck !!

This what confuses me, first two responses talk about quick turn around in about a week or so, the last -it took them 60 days, why such a difference?

We recieved the Noa1 on 12/10 it took them to May to transfer case to Texas, then until July 3 to issue RFE, many you applied months after us gave already been approved and had their interview, just dont get the big differences.

It is frustrating for me but even more so for the fiancee who is stuck back in Colombia, she wants me to call my congressman, i will wait another week, if no response by next Monday i will call, not sure if it will do any good but i least i am doing something.

Hi did your case get transfer to TSC? Thanks

I don't believe my case was transferred to TSC. From what I've seen, they only seem to be doing this with some delayed VSC cases.

Received email that NOA2 was issued yesterday!

woot woot :)
