Great. But not for sushi

Oh I wasn't involved in you all's rice purist debate as I have no idea. We bought some thai rice recently that was pretty good but its not sushi rice. The wife bought some brown sushi rice to make kimbap and it was a huge challenge for her. She used the rice cooker and it was pretty much soup. I think she dried it out in the toaster oven. Came out pretty good (not hard like you would think the oven would make it) but she said she wasn't using the brown rice again. I liked it though........

I give you the same eyeroll I give my southern friends who tell me football is religion.

I don't know anything about South India so I cannot judge. But in Japan, anyone hoping to become a sushi "chef" has to spend years learning how to roll Japanese rice to the correct texture before they can learn hoe to cut seafood correctly.

That I'm not sure of. Probably that or Chinese. Western ones wouldn't be allowed in the house.

I have only used a Japanese rice cooker. Japanese rice is very different from Chinese rice. Have the Chinese developed their own kind of rice cooker ( the Japanese developed the first)

Why would you eat Japanese in NY?

Coz I missed Japan at the time and it is healthy.

The unfinished site is a ruse...

I think lil Kim is bored with having to live in NKorea and hence likes to stir the pot occasionally and invite the likes of Hot Rod over. He is a spoilt rich kid.

I think he unfinished the site, in plain view, on purpose and is building a below ground launch site.

He's a moron with loads of disposable cash and a free labor force, he could finish a new stadium if he wanted.

He hasn't lost interest in being paranoid...from the people on this board you can see how true that is. ;)
