Spot on. It is great to be indulged by the American army, and not have to take responsibility. America is Japan's big brother .lol

Basically what I gathered out of this is that if Japan comes home drunk, the United States will help tuck them in bed.

Yeah but not real sushi.

Also if you are in the States I highly doubt you are eating Japanese rice - a major component in sushi.

Or Wasabi:

Wasabi is difficult to cultivate, and that makes it quite expensive. Due to its high cost, a common substitute is a mixture of horseradish, mustard, starchand green food coloring. Outside of Japan, it is rare to find real wasabi plants. Often packages are labeled as wasabi, but the ingredients do not actually include wasabi plant. Although the taste is similar between wasabi and horseradish, they are easily distinguished[clarification needed]. In Japan, horseradish is referred to as seiyō wasabi (西洋わさび?, "western wasabi").[7] In the United States, true wasabi is generally found only at specialty grocers and high-end restaurants.[8

BS

Not for sushi. the flavour and texture is different. When eating an Indian curry I prefer basmati rice , and when eating a Thai curry I like Thai rice. American rice? #######?

Your obvious prejudice is showing. Japan is showing protectionism, restricting the import of radiation free California rice .
