Processing Time for Green Card

Hello,

My husband's application (I-485) and paperwork for Adjustment of Status was accepted January 28, 2013. He had his giometrics done on March 11, 2013. What is the approximate time frame for his Green Card to arrive provided there's no issues? Thank you.

5 month to 12 month...what kind of visa is he adjusting from? If he came with a k1 visa (fiance) he can get his visa without interview but takes 7 to 10 month. If he is adjusting from another just wait for her interview appointment.

Let me add something, if he is adjunting from a k1 visa he can be approve with or without interview. Some cases needs interview some dont. Usually if you have an interview the process is shorter but if you are approved without interview the process takes longer. In my case, it took me 9 month.

My husband just got his green card this month. We applied in Sept 2012. so it took us over 10 months. Right now it looks like they are still processing applications from Aug, sept and oct 2012.

Thank you! Hopefully you won't have to wait as long as we did. From what I read, it looks like in June NBC started sending the interview waved files on to local offices so maybe the process will start to go quicker. I noticed once they started doing that, people from Sept, Oct and Nov were getting approved. So maybe not too much longer for your hubby!
