bringing child of permanent resident turning citizen after i130 for spouse is approved

Hi

My spouse's i130 which i filed as permanent resident was just approved.

I am scheduled for an oath ceremony.

our baby born a month back was added to the i130 petition, but now that I will be a citizen in the coming days, I guess she wont be a derivative of my spouse's petition.

how often do you think expedites are granted to bring the baby with the mom if i file i130 for the baby? should i?

should i go for k4?

your advice would be appreciated.

Once your wife and child enter the US on immigrant visas then the child will automatically become a US citizen under the Child Citizenship Act (2000), provided you have become a US citizen by then.

We have same situation,i was upgraded fron f2a - ir1 and we have baby,she also derivate before when i was f2a.. We request expedite,unfortunately not approved.. So my babys paper is like bak to 0.. Until now we are waiting for the approval of orm 130.,im the mother nextweek will be my flight..i haveno choice my visa will expired soon..

simpleme, did you try K4? I don't know if you can apply for k4 without applying for K3, and can't find much information about it online

nope, k4 is a derivative of the petition K3, child of a K3 beneficiary.
