The dog has to have updated shots, and yes she will have fly the dog cargo. She will have to call the airlines, because they do not fly animals in extreme heat or cold months.

Been importing German Shepherd dogs from Germany for quite some time. Shot requirements and the price of a crate and even airfare quite a bit cheaper than bringing a human here. And zero with immigration. Wound even send over a dame for breeding, except no crate cost, had my own crates.

Ha, wished many times it would be this cheap and immigration free as when I brought my wife here. Didn't have to sign that I-864 either for my dogs. And customs was so much nicer with a cute little pup, than even a cute little wife.

I just call he airlines FYI. Will need all the dogs shot records, any vet worth his salt can provide those. Never ran across questions like extreme weather, these planes fly well over 30,000 feet. While I have never seen where they keep the dogs, certainly in the same environment as the passengers.

Could ask this dog, she made these trips several times.
