Site is so difficult to navigate

I am having a difficult time navigating through this site. It seems very disorganized. Not very user friendly. Am I doing something wrong?

You're probably not doing anything wrong. I've always thought the site was confusing but I've never thought of a way to make it better; the immigration process is just a confusing subject. There's so much information here that I can't think of any better arrangement than what we currently have.

As you are a K1 visa, you will most likely want to use the forums for fiancee visas: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/80-k-1-fiancee-visa-process-procedures/

You will want to also become familiar with your regional forum, found in the General Discussion area: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/136-vietnam/

The regional forum is great for making friends who have gone through the exact same process as you.

Also, you should fill in your timeline as soon as you can. It will help people help you.

What are you looking for that you can't find?

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

I am having a difficult time navigating through this site. It seems very disorganized. Not very user friendly. Am I doing something wrong?

I think the big reason for feeling this way is because this site has so much information and it is overwhelming at first. Once you spend some time here, look around and also know the process a little better, things will become clearer and organized for you. If you have any questions about anything just post a topic and ask. Someone will most likely always be able to help or point you to the right direction.

It would help if there was a drop down menu which would allow users to "drill down" by Visa Type, and it would link them directly to the relevant resources.

uhm - if yer on a handphone or pad or tablet, turn it off.

come back on a PC.

The landscape is different.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Op - As others have said, invest some time to get use to site and it will make sence.

It's far from perfect but without VJ, I wouldn't have made it through thus I really appreciate all of the effort that goes into maintaining it.

Vj crew - Thanks for everything you do for us!

I have been a member for a while

HOW DO I POST A TOPIC?

Select a forum in which you wish to post. Over on the right hand side above the list of topics in every forum is a dark blue button that says "Start New Topic". Click on that. It will open up a form that has a line for a 'Topic Title". Type in a title for your post. You can ignore the next blank line 'topic tags'. Below that is a white box with standard editing icons shown against a light blue background above it. Type your post there. When you are finished, go to the very bottom of the page. Click on the dark blue button in the middle of the page "Post New Topic". Your post will appear as a separate topic on the list of topics.

The process is the same for every forum. Hope this helps smile.png .

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
