Oh, I see where you might be confused. She was born in Hong Kong but he moved to Canada when she was very young. An easy mistake to make.

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

That's the way it is now. Back then Canada used to have its own model importing agency (funded 100% by gun-less Canadian taxpayers) Eventually, the international modeling agency mob had such a strangle hold on the Canadian agency, the Canadian government was forced to pay off the mob and start filtering through Vermont. The theory at the time (and now proven rule) was that the international modeling agency mob would have no possibility of gaining a foothold among the heavily armed masses in Vermont. I just wish my wife had a chance to come through Vermont. They all get free pancakes (tolerable ones at that) upon arrival and sometimes during processing.
