So, I was in constant communication with my congressmen or better yet his secretary lol. She was very kind and was always responding quickly to my emails.

In this email however, they referred to my SO as a female. LOL How weird is that?? Anywho, what qualification can they be possibly looking for?? crying.gif

The immigrant visa application of Mrs. Joan XXXXX is undergoing administrative processing in order to verify her qualifications for this visa. Administrative processing often lasts about 90 days, but in some instances, it can take several months or significantly longer.

We realize that these extended time periods cause frustration to many individuals, and we are sensitive to the fact that the purpose of the immigrant visa program is to re-unite families. Nonetheless, the U.S. Embassy in Santo Domingo, like all U.S. Embassies and Consulates, must adjudicate visas in accordance with the provisions of the law, and, in some cases, this involves extensive administrative processing. While we cannot predict when the processing of the visa for the applicant will be completed, please be assured that the Department of State, including the Embassy, is aware of your concern. We will do all we can to see that the visa is adjudicated as soon as her qualifications have been verified.
We hope this information is helpful, and we regret that our response cannot be more substantive at this time. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you need further assistance.

ClockWatch2.gif Que desesperante debe ser todo esto para ti.....There has to be a way on getting more info! Can this be tied to the RFE? Just throwing things out there....was there anything that was considered a red flag....el tiene alguna deuda en CICLAS (I think that's it)? I can't possibly think of what may be holding up this VISA!!! SUELTEN ESA VISA conchoooo!

Anyhow I will keep you in my prayers and all others from the DR Crew in the same situation! No pierdas la FE!

Don't feel bad Dee n Jay just looked online my case is in administrative processing too :( the waiting game continues. . .

This is horrible. Just when you think that waiting for that NOA2 was bad now this:(
