Pending IR-1/CR-1 and apply for Candian Visitor Visa

Hi,

My wife (Beneficiary) has pending IR-1/CR-1 and expecting to complete by December 2013. She wanted to visit her aunt in Canada for 2 months. I am in the process of getting invitation letter from her Aunt. The question i had is that can i write in the invitation letter or personal letter to Canadian Embassy that she will go back to her home country to do the interview at US consulate to prove strong ties to back to home country? Or will be taken as negative as week ties to home country.
