 You just read my EXACT thought!

Liefde is een bloem zo teer dat hij knakt bij de minste aanraking en zo sterk dat niets zijn groei in de weg staat

IK HOU VAN JOU, MARK

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

cold snap here too..was 50s yesterday and only in the teens today...I hate the quick fluctuations like that...will get much worse later in winter, but it feels so much colder when it's so sudden like that.

garyandmarylou...where on the border are you?? I lived in Beloit for the first 20some years of my life, but we live in northern WI now...just curious! :)

be safe everyone who has to be driving! M.

Hi Michelle

We live near Lake Geneva, ive lived here all my life as well.

Cool! Lake Geneva is a *nice* area!! Much nicer than Beloit! :P I did go to school in Clinton though...we were right on the border, so we all did... I'm glad about that. Anyway, nice to see another Wisconsinite! :) M.

Clinton is a nice area tho too. Where up north do you live now Michelle ? Have you gotten much snow? We are digging out of 12 inches here  Gotta love Wisconsin weather :P:lol:

We live a couple hours north of Green Bay now, so wayyyyyyyyy up there! I went from WI/IL border to now living only 15 miles or so from the MI border. In fact, I go to school in MI and we have to do most of our shopping there...really small town here. We only got the smallest dusting of snow! A couple/maybe three weeks ago we got about 7/8 inches...that was our first snow of the season, but then it warmed up to 50s or so again, so it all melted pretty fast. The deer hunters weren't happy with that! :P Now it's dropped back to the teens, but no snow yet. As far as I'm concerned, it can hold off as long as it likes, but Craig loves it...go figure! M.

ETA....sheesh. Sorry I screwed up the quotes! Too tired to go back and fix it now..after our last movie, I stayed up and watched another, so now I'm totally wiped! Just waiting to put clothes in dryer, and then off to bed for me finally! The guys will prob. be getting up long before me tomorrow(today!) Man Utd. playing and all! Anyway...I deleted some stuff and screwed all the quotes up...ah well! :P

Oh hi! I see you down there!

Gary always loved the snow when he would visit, but now that he lives here and has to deal with clearing it he doesnt like it as much  Im just back from doing some xmas shopping and the roads here arent cleared very well yet  Time to hide the pressies and decorate the house somemore lol See you later Michelle :)

I finally made it out. The road going to my building is about a mile long and the city hasn't got the main roads cleared let alone the side roads. There were a few guys go through in their 4x4's that mashed the snow down a bit and I decided to go for it. Nothing like the sound of the bottom dragging for a mile. The main roads were not much better. Still snow packed and very icey. I wonder what the street dept has been doing all day!

I tell you what. I used to live in Alton IL. Madison county and the City of Alton own Peoria when it comes to snow removal. These guys could use some lessons!
