Yeah it was around 60F here yesterday...today it's in the 20s with ice coming down all day. No snow yet but would prefer it to ice any day. Thank goodness Chris got back home from his bios appointment already (to replace the green card he lost ), it's just getting worse outside.

Think I'll have some more tea.

enjoy, we can hold the winter olympics here. just made a run to the local ssn office about 35 miles away, took about 45 min each way. woulda been faster if all them non-4wheel drive cars would get outta the way.....

yep, it's just as bad here. Layer of ice covered by layer of snow + no winter tires + crappy Tulsa drivers = chaos.....which amuses me to no end.

i can always tell when i'm in oklahoma in a snowstorm - i see about two dozen cars off the road

Here it comes!! We had some ice this morning (in Peoria) and now it's sleeting. The weather forcast is still calling for 8-12 inches over night. I am going to work in an hour. I am not looking forward to the drive home tomorrow morning.

I am so worried about my husband. He is driving home from work now on I80 in Illinois. They just said on the news that there were 9 accidents right about where he is. There is black ice and they may close I80. This is a nail biter.
