I-485 Processing

Hi all-

My British fiance moved her December 10, 2012 and we married that week. We submitted all our documents for AOS and received notice of receipt that our case was received on December 20, 2012. His advance parole and EAD came through within about two and a half months after that. The last piece of the puzzle is of course the I-485 and green card. Our case number begins with MSC, and our lawyer told us that it's processing at the National Benefits Center. However, when we try to check processing times for I-485 at the National Benefits Center, this particular form is not listed on their processing table. We are from Boston, does this mean the Boston field office is processing our case? Any help would be appreciated so we can have an idea of when to expect the green card. Thanks!

Our receipt date is November 8th, 2012 and still waiting for green card. Yes I think its your local office that will be processing. At least that's what the immigration rep told me on the phone.

AOS from K-1 can have the interview waived. It appears that is what is happening to you. So the good news is no interview, but the bad news is it takes longer. It will stay at NBC until it is approved (or then, annoyingly, chosen for an interview). There is no official timeline or place to look for this sort of interview-waived I-485. Since it has been 8 months +, I would call and get a Tier 2 officer and ask for a "service request."
