Hi everyone :) If this is in the wrong thread I do apologise...

I'm English and my partner is American we are in a same sex relationship we met last year and since May this year she has been living in England with me on a student visa.

We are getting married and will be filling in the Spouse Visa so we can start a life together in America but is it possible for us to file for that visa whilst she is here studying? or does she have to return home to fill it out and we wait 1 year etc and I fly over to see her and vice versa while we wait?

Any suggestions or help is much appreciated as we are totally in the dark!

Thanks in advance :)
