Hey everyone! We got approved today! We included his mom's I-134 and everything went well. I think it helped that during the pre-screening and interview with the consul that we interact and that we act like how we act as a couple. We just felt so relieved when we heard her say "Your visa is approved!" Next will have to be the CFO Seminar. :)

Regardless of what I've read here, I think it makes a huge difference that the fiance and petitioner are present for the interview. At least it helps with the length of the interview. When we were there, most of the fiances were there without their significant other. Their interviewers really put them through the ringer. Our interview lasted a total of 4 minutes for both consuls. It makes a difference.

We'll be at the interview together as well next September 3, so it's nice to see further confirmation that it will all be worth it. We also plan to do the CFO either the day before or after, since we'll be in Manila until Thursday.
