Hi. Thanks for the update. Did they tell him if everything else was ok? What was the outcome of the interview?

He said they told him everything was okay, they just needed the medical exam.

That's great! I don't have any experience on how long AP will take, but I'm sure you'll get back your passport within a week. Keep us posted!

Thanks everyone for your support and encouragement. My fiancé was told to submit the documents on Tuesday. So hopefully we will have an approval the same day.!!

12/16/2013 - NOA2

01/08/2014 - NVC receipt date

02/11/2014 - NVC case # & IIN received

02/13/2014 - AOS paid

02/13/2014 - DS261 completed

2/28/2014 - received IV invoice/email from NVC

3/3/2014 - IV invoice available to pay & paid

3/5/2014 - DS260 completed & submitted

3/6/2014 - AOS and IV packets sent

3/7/2014 - packets delivered at NVC. 3/11/2014 - packets logged into NVC system

3/24/2014 - case complete

9/24/2014 - sent naturalization certificate to upgrade petition to IR-1

3/17/2014 - received text from USCIS with case number

3/14/2014 - NOA date

3/24/2014 - received biometrics letter

4/15/2014 - biometrics appointment

4/17/2014 - placed in line for interview

06/13/2014 - received yellow letter (letter dated 6/6/2014)

08/12/2014 - interview scheduled

08/16/2014 - interview letter received via mail

09/17/2014 - interview date

09/24/2014 - oath ceremony ***woot woot, finally I'm an American citizen***

how long did it take for the consulate to provide the documents necessary for you to travel. my fiancé and I were approved on the 12 , its been ten days and still no passport.
