I literally just got back from visiting my fiancee in England for two weeks, and I come home to an envelope from DHS/USCIS.

Being very nervous and excited I open it, and it's an approval notice/NOA 2!

Receipt Date: March 20th, 2013.

Notice Date: July 1st, 2013

Vermont Service center.

Extremely happy end to a couple of very happy weeks.

My question now is, under the Notice Type, it says Valid from 7/1/2013 to 10/31/2013. What does this mean?

November 14th, 2013: She's here!

December 12th, 2013: Picked up marriage license.

December 14th, 2013: Wedding

Also, it does not list what Consulate it's being sent to. Is this a problem I should have looked into?

I had the exact same problem and just posted a topic about it. I'm told that it is not listed on the NOA2 but when you get your number from NVC it will have the according consulate abbreviation at the beginning.
