I thought I would let folks know that it is a good idea to have 2 copies of everything. Well at least for those of us who fly to the country to be at the interview. Apparently there was some sort of error at the consulate and when we reached the POE they wanted more information.

It is a long story but I will not post any type of POE review here, I will eventually get around to posting the review of their incompetence and the 3 hour wait while the guys all took their time talking to each other, wasting time, laughing and talking about the weekend and what they did last night or other kinds of gossip. And especially how they were quite a bit rude.

So another point when you book your flight back to the US after your interview make sure you have a long layover for your connecting flight or you will miss it and have to pay a lot of money for new tickets and the jerks at the airport really do not care.

Too make a long story short they basically repeated the process of the interview at the airport. And they demanded to see the photos. I almost packed everything in the checked luggage, I was lucky that I happened to have it with me with the carry on. I do not know what they would do if I did not have them with me. I also do not know how I would have gotten to my luggage that was checked to even be able to retrieve them.

So carry a copy of EVERYTHING with you at all times with your carry on luggage.

And another reason to keep everything with you is that AMerican Airlines has now on 2 separate occasions got my bags soaked and there was standing water inside my baggage. And on the flight back to the US American Airlines lost our luggage and took 2 days to get them back, again soaking wet.

I know this must be yet another review that will need to get moved around to some other section on here, but when possible do not use American Airlines, they are exceptionally rude in addition to their incompetence. I have flown about 20 times now in 2 years and AA is consistently the worst.
