Filling Address for Form I-129F?

Hi guys,

my fiancé and I have recently filled our I-129F package to the USCIS Service Center in Texas. I'm wondering now if we should have sent it to the California Service Center since he lives in California. Will they automatically forward it to the California Service Center? I'm a little bit confused now. Does anybody know how it works?

You sent your petition to an intake facility in Texas, not the Texas Service Center itself. You properly followed the instructions by sending it to the intake facility; that facility will forward your file accordingly.

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

Hi and welcome! As mentioned by Ryan, you did not send it to the Texas Service Center; rather, you sent it to the Dallas lockbox. Your petition will then be forwarded to the appropriate service center, either California or Vermont. When you receive your NOA1, it will tell you which service center your petition is being processed at. From your signature I assume it will be California.
