The baby will need a Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) and once that is issued, a US Passport.

Plan on a minimum of 6-8 months from the time the petition is filed to the time an interview takes place.

You can apply for a tourist visa but the chances of you obtaining one are next to nil.

All you have to do is to put the name of the baby in the I129F wile you apply, that's it. and when your case is send to the embassy for interview, you will prepare 2 packet 3 one for ur fiancee and the other one for your Baby, K1 et K2 Visa.

In may case,I am the US citizen petitioner and mi future wife and I have a baby girl, same situation as you.

Good luck

Incorrect, a K2 visa will not be issued to the baby because the baby has a US Citizen parent. They would be told to obtain a CRBA

Thank you for information!

Disregard it, it was incorrect.

If the child is a USC because one of the parents is, then they do not need a K2 visa. The child needs to get a US passport, not a US visa.

ok let me verify this.

My daughter was born in 2009 in Cameroon. I was here in the US as a green card. I became US citizen in 2013, are you saying that my daughter now can apply for US passport?even though she is still in cameroon and have never been to the US?

Since you were not a US Citizen when your daughter was born, you do not qualify to file a CRBA. Your situation is different from that of the OP.

A Child Born Outside the U.S. is a Citizen after Birth IF… AND... The child was under 18 or not yet born on February 27, 2001 At least one parent is a U.S. citizen, the child is currently under 18 and residing in the U.S. in the legal and physical custody of the U.S. citizen parent pursuant to lawful admission for permanent residence.

I think Umka36 is right, she can apply for US passport once she is here in the US.

Stop confusing the OP; their baby will need a passport PRIOR to departure to the US and in order for that to happen a CRBA will need to be obtained.

Exactly. Your situation is not the same. You were telling the OP to just list their child on the I-129F and apply for a K-2 visa for them. That is not the correct thing for the OP to do. They need the CRBA and then get a US passport for the child. You are confusing the situation for the OP with your own situation, which is not equal to that of the OP and the topic of this thread.
